FRUIT & VEG

Plant first early potatoes (late March)
Sow pepper seeds in multi compost and in a propagator. Feed with potash or seaweed fertiliser once the first flowers have set fruit.
Feed fruit trees in late winter. Remove grass and fork over the area surrounding base of fruit tree, before feeding. For plums, use twice as much fertiliser and increase potassium rich fertiliser. Mulch around the base afterwards.

TASK LIST

Feed lawn using a lawn fertiliser. Any bare patches on the lawn, break up the surface with a fork and rake the soil level. Where moss is a problem, apply a combined Spring fertiliser and moss killer in fine weather.

Lightly rake out dead moss and re seed bare patches
